Pastor Clayton E. Howard was born in Columbus, Ohio to the union of Reverend L.C. and Sister Rosa Lee Howard. Pastor and First Lady Brenda Howard are the proud parents of 3 daughters, Ashley, Brittany, and Kristen.
Pastor Howard has been in the gospel ministry for over 33 years. He received his Christian education from Birmingham Easonian Bible College, Crichton College, Howard University and National Baptist Educational Congress. Pastor Howard has completed courses in Evangelism Ministry, Old and New Testament studies, and numerous courses in Pastoral and Ministerial divisions.
In 1981 Reverend L.C. Howard (his father) licensed Pastor Clayton E. Howard to preach the gospel at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Huddy Kentucky. He received his certificate of Ordination at Shiloh Baptist Church in 1982.
Pastor C.E. Howard has pastured the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church in West Virginia, New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church both located in Memphis, Tennessee.
Pastor Howard is now the shepherd at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, where he has currently led 130 plus souls back to Christ since his coming in April of ’09. His ministry is spreading greatly, opening new classes and studies, and also focusing on leading more Christians in Evangelizing for Christ.
Pastor Howard is a down to earth, keep it real, hands on pastor. He doesn’t send you where he will not go, he will not ask you to do something he will not do.
